To Heal a Generation 
I spend a lot of time around uni students and one of the things I have noticed is their ability to make their own rules. Uni (well, at least UQ) is literally like it’s own little country, with it’s own little, unwritten rules.
For example, everyone waits in line to get onto the bus… what?!?!? I still don’t get it, and I’ve been here for 6 months.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, knows which bathrooms to use. And those bathrooms are always full. Girls who go to (or are planning to go to) UQ, do not use the Goddard or the Physics building bathrooms. They smell and they make me feel kind of gross.
And if you’re ever hungry, everyday there are at least 2 places selling hotdogs. And they have a general price, $2 a hotdog, $5 for 2 hot dogs and a soft drink. #WHAT!?! It’s a BBQ at uni, all day erryday.
Wanna buy cheap text books? Or get them from the library? LOL nope, CO-OP for $10200325893908 or try fight through students to hire them from the library… I wish you good luck.
In all honesty, I’m very grateful for my few days off uni and looking forward to going back tomorrow. Ciao xxx
The hardest thing about uni is trying to find a good coffee place in the morning. Everywhere is busy, starting for 7:30am…
This morning, I was casually rocking up to my lecture (late, I might add) and I decided I would grab a coffee to help keep me awake. I ordered a large hazelnut latte with a waffle from a coffee shop I haven’t tried yet.
Uhg. Never again. It tasted like dirt and was far too hot and far too little taste of hazelnut..
Going to be sticking to Merlos <3.
